a flat mouse asks your forearm to twist so your palm faces the desk. do that for a ranked night and then a morning of typing and the outside of your wrist files a complaint you cannot alt-tab away from. i ignored it until a session where i was shaking my hand out between rounds like a person who lost a bet. the logitech lift vertical ergonomic mouse turns that handshake into a handshake. your palm faces inward. that is the entire product.
i bought the off-white, right-handed one. not because off-white is a personality. because a graphite blob disappears in a photo and i wanted to see the thing i was blaming. here's what it actually does:

the one on my right
logitech lift vertical ergonomic mouse — off-white, right-handed
- 57-degree body, so the forearm stays closer to a handshake than a pancake
- quiet clicks. the scroll is the loud part, and it is still quieter than my old flat mouse bottoming out
- bluetooth low energy or the logi bolt usb receiver. three devices if you actually pair them
- one aa battery, logitech's number is up to 24 months. i have not owned it 24 months. i have not bought a second battery yet
who it fits
logitech sizes this for small to medium right hands. my hand is not large and the thumb rest still feels like it was measured on a person who exists. if your palm hangs off a normal mouse, do not buy this and then write me that the thumb shelf is a joke. there is a left-handed version. i did not buy it. if you are left-handed, the right-handed off-white listing is the wrong object even if the photo is pretty.
dpi goes to 4000 and you can turn it down. i play on a cloth surface, not glass. tracking has not skipped. the side buttons are where a vertical mouse puts them, which is "relearn for a night," not "broken."
honest pros and cons
pros: the ache that lived on the pinky side of my wrist got bored and left. it looks like a mouse in a photo, which matters when you are saving a desk and not a spec sheet. quiet enough that a thin wall does not get a vote. cons: small-to-medium is a real limit, not a suggestion. the first hour feels like you are holding a stapler wrong. battery life is a claim until you live with it. price moves around the high-60s to about $80. i would not pay a "rose gold tax" for the same shape.
availability check 2026-09-22: off-white, right-handed, add to cart, in stock, list around $80 and the live price under that. if the color you want is a renewed listing, read the seller. i bought new.
the mat under it is a separate argument. a vertical mouse on a bare wood desk still works. a vertical mouse on a pad that slides does not. that one is the leather desk pad. the board in front of both is the 75% keyboard.
